Made in Hawaii Festival Aug 22-25!

I will have a booth at the upcoming Made in Hawaii Festival on Oahu, August 22-25, 2024. It will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center again which is bigger than the former location at the Blasidell Center. The aisles are wider and the air conditioning is cold!

My corner booth is #2210 which is closer to the entrance. I will have all my home decor plus I am bringing a wide selection of mens and keiki t-shirts. The womens clothing will feature cardigans and tops. Come early for the best selection!

Ki Ho’alu Festival at the MACC!

On Sunday, June 30th, 2024, the Maui Arts and Cultural Center will present a free Ki Ho’alu Festival! This anticipated event features Ledward Kaapana, John Cruz and many more of the best slack key guitar players in Hawai’i. I will have a large booth with my home decor, clothing and my popular sale section. The gates open at 2:30pm and I will be selling until sunset!

Bring a low beach chair or blanket and relax on the amphitheater lawn. A special shaded kupuna seating section will be provided. Please bring a donation for the Maui Food Bank for distribution to those impacted by the wildfires. E komo mai!

New! Keiki Tees

I now have my blockprint art on keiki t-shirts featuring my Hula and Kalo designs! They will be introduced for purchase at the upcoming hula event at the Kea Lani resort on June 1, 2024. The t-shirts are 100% cotton and come in children sizes – xsmall through xlarge. Supplies are limited.

Hula event at the Kea Lani resort

I will be at the Fairmont Kea Lani Resort in Wailea on June 1st as one of the vendors for “A Journey Through Hula” event! It will showcase two Maui Hula Halau that competed in the recent Merrie Monarch Hula Festival. The Makeke  (marketplace) will be open for free to the public starting at 4:30pm in the lobby. It will run through the intermission, around 7:30pm. If you were not able to attend the Merrie Monarch, this is your chance to see up close and personal the beauty and precision of the best in hula in the state! (See the poster for ticket information).

My “Store” at the Swap Meet!

I will return to the Kahului Swap Meet as a “Floater” vendor in the summer. This means I do not have a permanent booth, but will be placed as spaces are open. Please text me (808-442-2894) before you go to the venue and I can let you know if I will be there and where I will be located on the grounds. Mahalo!

Ho’olaule’a at Kamehameha School

March 2, 2024, from 9am-4pm, I will be at the Ho’olaule’a on the campus of the Kamehameha School in upcountry Maui. I will have a tent in the courtyard and will be bringing home decor, clothing, t-shirts and my new Hula/Lehua t-shirt for women. “Rain is a blessing” so come prepared for upcountry’s cool and showery weather. This event is free and a great way to support the school (and see their incredible campus).

New Hula Lehua T-shirt!

I have designed a new Hula/Lehua womens t-shirt for the upcoming 2024 Merrie Monarch Hula Festival!

My blockprint design is the Lehua blossom which is associated with the hula and Hopoe. Hopoe is both the name of the goddess Hi’iaka’s close friend and the description of a perfectly shaped Lehua blossom. Hopoe is credited with teaching the first hula to Hi’iaka. There are mentions in old stories of the lehua blossoms which sway to and fro in the wind and rain of Puna.

“Hopoe, ka Lehua ki’eki’e i luna”  –  Hopoe, the exalted Lehua on high.

Merrie Monarch Hula Festival 2024!

April 3-6, 2024, I will be one of the crafter/artists at the Merrie Monarch Hawaiian Arts and Craft Fair in Hilo! I am honored to be chosen once again to participate in the most anticipated and popular Hawaiian Arts fair in Hawai’i. Please come by my booth, C-31,  in the Civic Auditorium. I am in the piko so you can’t miss me!

I will have a new Hula t-shirt design for na wahine and for the first time, I plan to bring my mens t-shirts. I will also have my Pillow covers, table runners, drink mat sets, clutches, Hele bags and more womens clothing.

I sold out by the third day last year, so hele mai early for the best selection!

Hau’oli Makahiki Hou!

I would like to extend a warm mahalo to all those who purchased or received my blockprint art this year!

I am grateful that groups like the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement helped Maui artists with event opportunities and the Made in Maui Festival reduced our booth fees. We live in such a special place with so much aloha!

Mahalo to friends, store accounts, customers and my ohana for your continued support. I am humbled by your kind words.

Hau’oli Makahiki Hou 2024 – Imua,
