New Nalu T-Shirt 2024!

I have a new mens t-shirt design which I created for the upcoming holiday season! It is my popular Nalu (Wave) blockprint design which is repeated in blue on the front of a mens t-shirt . My t-shirts are 100% lightweight cotton (4.2 ounce) and slim fit.

Below the design is a Hawaiian proverb: He ‘ale kua loloa no ka moana (A long-backed wave of the ocean). In Hawaiian culture, there is also the kaona, or poetic hidden meaning: A strong man who likens his back to the powerful waves.

You can purchase this and my other t-shirts at the upcoming Ukulele Festival, the Made in Maui Festival and the Na Makua Christmas show in Hilo.

Booth 2210 at the Made in Hawaii Festival!

I will be in booth 2210 (circled on the venue map) at the upcoming Made inHawaii Festival in a couple days! Dates: Friday, August 23 from 10am – 8pm, Saturday August 24, 10am – 8pm and Sunday, August 25 from 10am – 5pm. The new venue at the Hawaii Convention Center was a hit last year with wide aisles and great air conditioning!

Because of the huge crowds last year, parking was hard to find. The Ala Moana Shopping Center across the street has opened more spaces and the bus will shuttle shoppers from Waikiki.

I will be bringing Home decor: Pillow covers, Table runners, Drink mat sets and Tea towels. Clothing: mens, womens and childrens t-shirts, cardigans, dresses and a variety of womens tops.

Come early for the best selection!

Made in Hawaii Festival Aug 22-25!

I will have a booth at the upcoming Made in Hawaii Festival on Oahu, August 22-25, 2024. It will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center again which is bigger than the former location at the Blasidell Center. The aisles are wider and the air conditioning is cold!

My corner booth is #2210 which is closer to the entrance. I will have all my home decor plus I am bringing a wide selection of mens and keiki t-shirts. The womens clothing will feature cardigans and tops. Come early for the best selection!

Ki Ho’alu Festival at the MACC!

On Sunday, June 30th, 2024, the Maui Arts and Cultural Center will present a free Ki Ho’alu Festival! This anticipated event features Ledward Kaapana, John Cruz and many more of the best slack key guitar players in Hawai’i. I will have a large booth with my home decor, clothing and my popular sale section. The gates open at 2:30pm and I will be selling until sunset!

Bring a low beach chair or blanket and relax on the amphitheater lawn. A special shaded kupuna seating section will be provided. Please bring a donation for the Maui Food Bank for distribution to those impacted by the wildfires. E komo mai!

New! Keiki Tees

I now have my blockprint art on keiki t-shirts featuring my Hula and Kalo designs! They will be introduced for purchase at the upcoming hula event at the Kea Lani resort on June 1, 2024. The t-shirts are 100% cotton and come in children sizes – xsmall through xlarge. Supplies are limited.

Hula event at the Kea Lani resort

I will be at the Fairmont Kea Lani Resort in Wailea on June 1st as one of the vendors for “A Journey Through Hula” event! It will run through the intermission, around 7:30pm. If you were not able to attend the Merrie Monarch, this is your chance to see up close and personal the beauty and precision of the best in hula in the state! (See the poster for ticket information).

My “Store” at the Swap Meet!

I will return to the Kahului Swap Meet as a “Floater” vendor in the summer. This means I do not have a permanent booth, but will be placed as spaces are open. Please text me (808-442-2894) before you go to the venue and I can let you know if I will be there and where I will be located on the grounds. Mahalo!
